Description

CYRA is a chirped pulse amplification systems can be seeded by a femtosecond Yb:KGW, Yb:KYW, Yb:CaF2 or Yb:Fiber oscillator and includes diffraction grating stretcher, Yb:CaF2 regenerative amplifier (RA) and a high-efficiency diffraction grating compressor. In order to extract more energy the laser 2 crystal is cryogenically cooled below -160°C by a closed-loop refrigerator. Yb:CaF2 crystals can sustain rather broad-band gain spectrum, supporting 200-fs pulse duration, even at cryogenic temperatures. Optional oscillator cavity length stabilization is possible. The system comes with power supplies, cooling units and control electronics.
